Privacy Policy

What we collect

Nothing. Dalvi has no backend. We never receive, see, or store any information about you or your pets.

Where your data lives

• On your device. All records — pets, medical history, weights, photos, documents, expenses — are stored locally using Apple's SwiftData framework.
• In your private iCloud. If you are signed in to iCloud, Apple syncs this data across your own devices using CloudKit's private database. Only you can access it. Apple cannot read it, and neither can we.

We never transmit your data to any third-party service.

Permissions we request

• Photo library. To let you attach photos of your pets and their documents. Photos never leave your device.
• Camera. Optional, for taking photos directly in the app.
• Face ID / Touch ID. Optional, to lock the app. Biometric data never leaves the Secure Enclave and is never accessible to Dalvi.
• Notifications. Optional, for medication, appointment, and meal reminders. Scheduled entirely on your device.

Analytics and tracking

Dalvi contains no third-party SDKs, no advertising networks, and no tracking of any kind. We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase, the Facebook SDK, or any similar service.

We rely only on Apple's own MetricKit, which may report anonymous crash and performance diagnostics to Apple if you have opted in to share analytics with Apple in your iOS settings. This is entirely between you and Apple, and contains no personal data.

Purchases

Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Dalvi never sees your payment details. Apple's privacy policy governs that transaction.

Data export and deletion

You can export all of your data at any time from Settings → Backup. To delete everything, simply delete the app; this removes local data. To remove iCloud data, use iOS Settings → your Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage.

Children

Dalvi is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the date above.
